My goal in teaching is to help and support each student’s performance matched their level, to rise to the next level.

If you are a beginner, my lesson will start with how to play an instrument, listen to and read music just step by step. Then, the first goal is to be able to play one song to find joy by playing music! It is very important to be able to have fun exploring what is music.

If you are already an intermediate player, I would focus on tone quality, posture, and technical and tone excise, and expand musical expression. I can also help prepare for ABRSM,NYSSMA for NYC students.

higher level flute (classical and Jazz)

For more upper-level players who have some concerns about classical flute technique or switching jazz flute from the classical world. The beauty of the flute is its sound. The possibility of flute sound color is unlimited as fuzzy, mat, pure, shiny, gorgeous, etc.. To have a good sound, it is necessary to care about your tone quality and work on the right posture, embouchure, and play in tune. It gives you more freedom in your performance, and a clear mind while your playing. The important thing that you get the right way is to observe your practice. If you can observe yourself while you are playing, easier to improve without spending too long time practicing.
